The dangers have been shrugged off, argued and discussed long enough. Women have died, years have passed and still the FDA has failed to protect women from the dangerous side effects of blood clots associated with third generation birth control pills.  Women need more protection than special alerts issued by the FDA.

We need the FDA to take action and ban oral contraceptives containing the newer forms of progestogen such as:

Desogestrel, Drospirenone or Gestrodene.
